Statistics show that people update their wills every ten to fifteen years. It is a good idea to review your estate plan every year or so to make sure it remains current with your wishes. An estate plan that has been tailored to your needs will address that issue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Durable Power of Attorney \u2013 Will the right people be in charge if something happens?<\/strong>\u00a0Relationships change over time, and people that made sense ten years ago, may not be the right fit now.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advanced Directives \u2013 Living Will and Health Care Power of Attorney<\/strong>\u00a0Will the right people be making decisions for you in case of a serious accident or injury? Changes in Advanced Health Care Directives over the past five to ten years have changed significantly.
