Biographical Information
Amy joined Evans Case, LLP as a brief writer in October 2020. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Speech from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado Law School. After finishing law school, Amy joined Kutak Rock LLP’s Denver litigation group, and she has worked at several other firms in the Denver metro area these past 20 years, while raising a family. Amy has practiced in civil and complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation and eminent domain, and now focuses her practice on probate, trust and estate litigation, and protective proceedings. As a litigator, Amy has represented clients through every stage of litigation, from client intake, through and including discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, hearings/trials and appeals. Amy enjoys working closely with clients and the satisfaction of helping to ensure that their loved ones are properly cared for with the appointment of a guardian or conservator and that their contested probate proceedings are efficiently, and vigorously defended. Outside of the office, Amy volunteers her time at church and supports her children’s busy schedules. She enjoys her monthly neighborhood book club, which she co-founded over ten years ago, spending time at her family’s cabin in northern Wisconsin, traveling and visiting her high school friends in L.A. whenever possible, Pilates, Masters swimming, baking, and her garden.
